Calculators for the numbers that actually cost people money

Five calculators built from the files we process at the counter. No sign-up, no email capture, no results held back — the answer appears on the page.

Why these are free, and free of forms

Most UAE visa calculators ask for your email before showing a result, or produce a number so vague it tells you nothing. Both are lead-capture mechanisms wearing a calculator costume.

These are not. Every one gives you the full answer immediately, shows the working, and tells you what it cannot know. If a tool saves you a wasted application fee and you never contact us, that is a reasonable outcome.

What a calculator cannot do

Every one of these works from what you type in. We work from what is actually recorded against your file at MOHRE, GDRFA and ICP — which is frequently different, and always the number that matters.

The most common example: your overstay grace period runs from the date your employer recorded your cancellation, not your last working day. No calculator can know that date. We can check it in minutes, free.

What each one is built on

ToolBased on
Overstay fine calculatorThe unified AED 50/day rate applied nationally since 11 February 2026
Gratuity calculatorArticle 51, Federal Decree-Law 33 of 2021, including the two-year cap
Visa cost estimatorGovernment fee ranges from files we process, excluding service fees
Family visa checkerThe AED 4,000 basic salary and Ejari accommodation gates
Golden Visa checkerHeadline thresholds per route, including the February 2026 mortgage change

Use them, share them, embed them

If you run an HR function, a community group or an expat forum and these are useful to your people, link to them freely. We would rather the right numbers circulated than the wrong ones.

Please note. All figures are estimates based on published rates and rules verified in August 2026. Government fees and thresholds change, and individual cases are assessed on their own facts. Confirm your position before acting on any result. General information, not legal or financial advice.

The number that matters

Send us the document and we will check what is actually on file.

A passport page, an Emirates ID number, a trade licence or a labour contract. We come back with the real position, the cost and a realistic date — before you commit to anything.
