Our Fees

Government fees at cost. Our fee quoted separately. Both in writing, before we start.

How we price

  • Every quote separates government fees from our service fee. Both in writing, before we start.
  • Government fees are passed on at cost. We do not mark them up.
  • Our fee is quoted per file, because the work varies — a clean renewal and a file with an outstanding fine are not the same job.
  • If something on your file will change the price, you hear it before you pay, not after.

Most providers in this market quote one bundled number. That number contains two very different things: money that goes to a government authority at a published rate, and money that goes to the provider. Conflating them is how the industry works, and it is why identical transactions get quoted at wildly different prices.

We quote them separately. You can verify the government half against published rates, and judge our half on its own merits.

The full published schedule of what each authority charges is set out in our UAE government fees index — organised by the body that collects the money. We publish it so you can check any quote, including ours.

What actually moves the price

Your MOHRE company category

The single biggest variable in hiring. The same work permit ranges from AED 300 to AED 5,000 depending on classification. Nothing about the work changes — only the government fee.

The 5% market fee on your rent

On a mainland trade licence renewal, this is calculated from your registered Ejari. Two companies with identical licences can differ by more than AED 10,000 on this line alone.

Medical insurance and age

Mandatory on every residence visa and priced by age. For an elderly parent it can exceed the visa cost itself.

Attestation, where documents are involved

Mostly incurred outside the UAE and frequently more than the visa it supports. See attestation costs.

Anything outstanding on the file

Unpaid fines, an expired document, a lapsed establishment card. These do not just add cost — they stop the transaction until cleared.

Why we will not publish one fixed price list

A single advertised price for "employment visa" would be misleading. The government portion alone swings by thousands depending on your company category, and any provider quoting a flat number is either padding for the worst case or planning to add charges later.

What we will do is give you an exact figure for your file, in writing, before you commit anything.

What is always included

  • A file check before you pay — outstanding fines, expiries, bans and quota
  • Government fees passed on at cost, itemised
  • Preparation, typing and lodgement at the correct authority
  • Follow-up until the file closes, with updates on WhatsApp
  • A straight answer if we think the application will not succeed

What is quoted separately

  • Medical insurance — arranged at the insurer's rate
  • Attestation, including the home-country stages
  • Legal translation, where a document requires it
  • Urgent processing, where an authority offers it and it will genuinely help
  • Existing fines, which are paid to the authority at their amount

Estimate it yourself first

You do not have to ask us to get a sense of the numbers. These are free, need no details from you, and use published rates:

How to read any quote, including ours

Ask four questions: what is the government fee, what is your fee, what is excluded, and what happens if it is refused. A provider who cannot answer all four in writing is not quoting you a price.

Get the actual number for your file

Send the relevant document — trade licence, passport page, labour contract or Ejari. You get government fees at cost, our fee stated separately, and anything already outstanding against the file. Before you commit anything.

Get an itemised quote

Please note. Government fees are set by the relevant UAE authority and revised periodically, sometimes without notice. Figures referenced on this site are dated and indicative. Your written quote is the basis of what you pay. See our terms.

Talk to us

Send us the document. We will tell you where you stand.

A trade licence, a passport page, an Emirates ID number or a labour contract is usually enough for us to give you the position, the cost and a realistic date — before you commit to anything.
