DMCC Portal Guide: Login, Service Requests, Statuses and Returned Requests

How the DMCC Member Portal works for DMCC companies: the login page and username format, UAE PASS sign-in, password resets and missing login emails, a menu map of the main service requests with DMCC's stated processing times, how to raise, track and resubmit a request, what each status means, the 60-day draft and 90-day return rules with the AED 515 cancellation charge, the sanctions that block requests, a first-week checklist for new companies and how to keep logins secure, checked 5 November 2026.

Reviewed by Mir Ali, founder of MIRDXB PRO. Checked against official sources and the real cases we have handled over the past three years. How we write and check our guides

Key takeaways

  • The DMCC portal you log in to is the DMCC Member Portal at portal.dmcc.ae. Sign in with a username in the form name@dmccportal.ae and a password, or with the UAE PASS button on the same screen.
  • Almost every task after setup is a service request (SR): visas, renewals, amendments, letters, refunds. Each SR has a number, moves through steps and ends with an e-document you download.
  • Two clocks run in the background. A draft nobody submits is voided after 60 calendar days. A request DMCC sends back is cancelled if you do not act within 90 calendar days of the return date, and DMCC’s schedule lists an AED 515 cancellation charge for most request types.
  • Most returns are avoidable: short passport validity, details that differ from the passport, an unattested certificate, the wrong file, an expired licence or card, no HR signatory, or an active sanction.
  • Never hand anyone your password or UAE PASS code. Your admin adds users, and DMCC lets a company flag a user as a consultant, which removes admin rights from that login.

In short: As of November 2026, the DMCC portal (the DMCC Member Portal) is reached at portal.dmcc.ae/communitylogin, with a username@dmccportal.ae login or UAE PASS. Companies raise service requests there, upload documents, pay from the portal balance and track each step. If DMCC returns a request, open it, read the step assigned back to you, fix the documents and send it back within 90 calendar days, or the request is cancelled and a cancellation fee can be charged.

A request keeps coming back, a sanction is blocking you, or nobody in the company has time to learn the portal? Send us the SR number and what the portal shows. We tell you what DMCC is asking for and quote a fixed fee to prepare or handle it. We never ask for your portal password or UAE PASS code.

On 5 November 2026 we opened the public DMCC login page (without signing in) and read the Help Centre’s public article index, the dmcc.ae knowledge-bank guidelines, the schedule of charges and DMCC’s service request manuals. Some Help Centre answers open only for signed-in members; where we saw just a title and opening line, we say so. This guide is part of our DMCC free zone guide; company formation is covered in DMCC company setup.

Which DMCC portal do you need?

Search for “DMCC portal” and you will find five different DMCC websites. Only one is where a DMCC company files its work, and picking the wrong one is why many logins seem not to work.

SiteAddressWho it is forLogin
DMCC Member Portalportal.dmcc.ae/communityloginDMCC companies after licensing: requests, payments, statements, appointmentsusername@dmccportal.ae and password, or UAE PASS
DMCC Help Centredmccsf.my.site.com/DMCCHelpCentreFAQs, cases (queries), feedback, live chat, status checksPublic article index; many answers and case tracking need you signed in from the Member Portal

The DMCC client portal, company portal and “DMCC login” all mean the Member Portal.

How do I log in to the DMCC portal?

The login page, checked on 5 November 2026, shows two routes:

  • Username and password. The box shows the example “username@dmccportal.ae”: a portal username in email format, not your company email. Type it in full.
  • UAE PASS. A button on the same page opens UAE PASS sign-in. A January 2021 Help Centre article said DMCC was still working on this; the live page now offers it. If it fails, use your username and ask DMCC how your UAE PASS is matched to your portal user. Abroad? See UAE PASS from abroad.

Under the form, “Having problems logging in?” opens the Help Centre feedback form for suggestions and complaints. For urgent access problems, the contact centre or a Help Centre case is faster.

First access for a new DMCC company

Portal access starts before the licence exists. DMCC’s Help Centre says an applicant “gets access to the portal to initiate the application” once the setup lead is converted; after incorporation, the admin user creates the other users. Login details come by email from DMCC’s Salesforce platform, and DMCC warns they will not arrive if your mail system treats the Salesforce domain as spam. Ask IT to allow it before you chase DMCC.

Forgotten password

  1. On the login page, click Forgot or reset your password?
  2. Enter your portal username (the @dmccportal.ae one) and press Continue.
  3. A reset link goes to the email address registered for that user. Follow it and set a new password.

The “Forgot your username?” link on that page leads to a general Salesforce page, not a DMCC one. If you do not know your username, ask your company’s admin user or the contact centre.

Locked out, admin gone, or no access at all

DMCC publishes no lockout rule, so we quote none. The admin can update any user’s email and each user their own. If the only admin has left, raise a Help Centre case or call the contact centre.

Who in the company can do what?

DMCC’s user roles decide who can submit and who can pay. DMCC’s own blog (February 2016) and a 2019 Help Centre answer describe four: Admin (manages users, creates requests, confirms payment), Approver (creates requests and confirms payment), Entry (creates requests but cannot confirm payment) and Reviewer (view only). DMCC suggests splitting “apply” and “approve” rights, as for a bank account; users are managed from My Settings, then Manage Users. Every employment visa also needs an active HR signatory, who e-signs before the employee does. In short: decide who pays before your first request.

DMCC portal map: where each task lives

This is the map we keep open when filing. Menu paths are written the way DMCC’s guideline pages and manuals print them; your screen may word a label slightly differently. “DMCC time” is the processing time DMCC states on its knowledge-bank page, counted after a complete submission. Any user except a Reviewer can prepare a request; only an Admin or Approver can confirm payment.

How to raise a service request, step by step

Every request follows one pattern, taken here from DMCC’s visa manuals (updated 11 January 2024) and knowledge-bank pages.

  1. Check the account first

Valid licence and establishment card, no sanction, enough balance, and an HR signatory for employee requests.

  2. Open the service and fill it exactly

Use the map above. DMCC’s manuals insist details match the passport; mistakes here cause returns later.

  3. Enter the correspondence details

The portal user and mobile number entered here receive status messages. Choose someone who reads them daily.

  4. Save and note the SR number

Saving creates the request number that DMCC and the status checkers use. The request is still only a Draft.

  5. Upload documents

Use “Download/Upload/Review Doc” and the SR Documents section, in the exact size and format shown.

  6. Submit and confirm payment

Submit, check the price and confirm. An Entry user cannot confirm payment, so the request waits for an Admin or Approver.

  7. Complete your steps as they open

Steps such as e-signatures, an arrival date or insurance details appear under the request’s Steps section.

  8. Download the output

Permits, visas, licences and letters are uploaded to the request as e-documents; the status then shows Closed.

What do the DMCC request statuses mean?

DMCC does not publish one complete list of statuses, and step names differ by service. These are the ones DMCC’s Help Centre and manuals name.

Status or stepWhat it meansYour move
DraftSaved but not submitted. DMCC has not received it.Submit it or cancel it. Unsubmitted drafts are voided after 60 calendar days.
Verify ApplicationNamed in DMCC’s FAQ for new visas; the answer is visible only to members. The name points to DMCC reviewing the application.Wait; watch your email and SMS.
Awaiting Re-uploadDMCC has returned the request to your queue because a document is required.Re-upload and send it back (steps below). The 90-day clock is running.
Awaiting confirmationDMCC needs a choice from you, for example whether a visa amendment (change of status) is required.Open the step, choose, save.
Awaiting Collection of OriginalsAn original document has to be seen at a DMCC counter for this service.Book an appointment through Online Booking.
ClosedAll steps are complete.Download the e-document from SR Documents.

How do I track a DMCC service request?

  • Inside the portal: the home page lists your pending actions (DMCC’s articles call the panel Pending Actions or My Actions), and you can type the SR number into the search bar to open any request.
  • Email and SMS: DMCC’s manuals list an email at each milestone, from submission to the uploaded visa, and SMS messages to the mobile in the correspondence details.
  • Service Request Status Checker: a Help Centre tool; DMCC says only authenticated users can see a request’s status there.
  • Visa Status Checker: for visa and identity card applications only. It asks for the service request number and the applicant’s passport details, so an employee can follow their own visa without a portal login.

My request was returned: how do I respond and resubmit?

A return is not a rejection. DMCC’s Help Centre answer is short: open the SR and check the latest step assigned back to you. DMCC’s step-by-step article for re-uploads (2018) runs, in summary:

  1. Log in and click Pending Actions.
  2. Find the request and the step that was sent back, and read exactly what DMCC asks for.
  3. Open the documents section and replace every document marked for re-upload.
  4. Click Return back to SR at the top of the page to send the request back to DMCC.
  5. Under Steps, open the step showing Awaiting Re-upload and change its status so the step moves on.

A medical result works the same way (DMCC, 2025): upload it in the Medical Fitness Certificate slot, then return the step. Upload a corrected file, not the same one renamed, and if DMCC’s request is unclear, raise a Help Centre case quoting the SR number first.

The two clocks. DMCC’s guidelines void drafts after 60 calendar days and cancel returned requests after 90 calendar days without your action; the manuals add that a cancellation fee is charged to the portal when the system cancels. For licence renewal, DMCC’s older late-renewal FAQ also warns that the late fee is worked out again if your reply slips into the next lateness band.

DraftDay 60 from creation: voided
ReturnedDay 90 from the return date: cancelled, fee charged

Why DMCC requests get returned, and how to fix them

Built from the prerequisites on DMCC’s guideline pages and manuals. DMCC publishes no return statistics, so the order is by stage, not frequency.

ReasonDMCC’s ruleFix before you submit
Passport too close to expiry6+ months for a new entry permit; more than 3 months for visa renewalRenew the passport, then update it on the portal
Details differ from the passportAll applicant details must be entered as per the passportCopy names, numbers and dates exactly
Job title not supportedTitle must be backed by an attested education certificate, or a share certificate for holders of 50+ sharesFinish attestation first; see our attestation order guide
Wrong fileDocuments in the exact size and format shownClear scans, one document per slot
Licence or establishment card expiredBoth must be valid for visa requestsRenew first; DMCC’s cancellation manual still lets you cancel a visa with an expired licence or card
No active HR signatoryRequired before any employment visa requestAppoint and activate the HR signatory
E-signatures not activatedShare transfer and change of officer need e-signature activated for all authorised signatoriesActivate before drafting
Old articles of associationCompanies registered before 2020 must have adopted AoA under the 2020 rules for a share transferAdopt the new AoA first
Renewal prerequisites missingInsurance, third-party NOC valid 3 months past expiry, and fitness certificate, parent good standing and lease each valid 30+ daysCheck every date a month before expiry
Health insurance about to lapseUnder 1 month left at visa renewal needs an undertaking letterRenew the policy or attach the letter
Outside typingSince 12 September 2023 DMCC is the only channel for Emirates ID and medical typing for its companiesDo not pay a typing centre for these
Cancellation without reasonRegistration and licence requests need a valid justification to cancelWrite the reason when you press Cancel Request

Drafts, cancelled requests and the AED 515 charge

  • Drafts and returns: the two clocks above apply (DMCC’s visa pages say drafts are cancelled rather than voided). You can also cancel a draft yourself.
  • Cancelling on purpose: the admin uses the Cancel Request button on the request page; for visa requests this works only before DMCC types the application. For letters and some smaller requests, DMCC asks for a signed and stamped SR cancellation letter or a self-service case instead.
  • What it costs: DMCC’s schedule lists AED 515 to cancel a new visa, visa renewal, licence renewal or amendment, registration amendment, contract amendment, access approval or office sharing permit request, and AED 1,035 for a new company application. Letters, NOCs, extracts and certificates are generally non-refundable once submitted. The schedule adds its AED 20 Knowledge and Innovation Dirham fee to charges.

Sanctions that block your requests

A sanction is a flag on the company account. DMCC’s guidelines say it must be cleared before a share transfer, officer change, licence amendment, new visa or licence renewal. The login pop-up about sanctions (explained in a July 2026 Help Centre article) simply means one is active. The common ones:

Sanction remarkUsual triggerHow it is cleared
Expired licenceLicence not renewed by expiryApply for licence renewal
Lease ExpiredThe lease linked to the licence has endedRenew the lease or record the new contract
Expired KYC (July 2026)Expired passports or out-of-date KYC details of shareholders or officersUpdate KYC; until then extracts and registration amendments are blocked
Submission of Audited StatementsAudited financial statements overdueSubmit the statements
Parent good standing / fitness certificateParent certificate or Operational Fitness Certificate out of dateUpload the current certificate
Over Due Amount or direct debit failureMoney owed to DMCCPay the balance due
Court order, terminationNotice from Dubai Courts, or a closure in progress or completedThrough the court matter or the closure process

If a sanction stays after you fix the cause, DMCC says to contact it. Shareholder and officer records also feed the UBO register, so update both together.

Paying for requests

Requests are paid from the portal balance, topped up by UAEPGS transfer, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay inside the portal, or by bank transfer quoting your portal account number. DMCC’s FAQs also mention a separate visa deposit balance. If the balance is short, the request waits until you top up and return to it, so keep a buffer.

First-week portal checklist for a new DMCC company

  • Log in once with the admin user and store the @dmccportal.ae username safely inside the company.
  • Create your own users, each with a unique email, and split roles so the person who prepares requests is not the only one who pays.
  • Allow DMCC’s Salesforce emails through your mail filter and check the correspondence email and mobile reach a person.
  • Appoint and activate the HR signatory before the first visa request.
  • Activate e-signature for all authorised signatories.
  • Check every shareholder’s and officer’s passport expiry in KYC, to stay clear of the Expired KYC sanction.
  • Top up the balance, note your portal account number, and check whether your visa plans need a visa deposit.
  • Put licence, lease, establishment card, insurance and fitness certificate expiry dates in a shared calendar with a 30-day warning.
  • If you deposited share capital through a bank, submit the bank confirmation letter on time; DMCC warns that missing it can bring a sanction.
  • Update your business directory entry and logo, and bookmark the Help Centre.

Keep the portal secure

  • Never share a password or UAE PASS code, with a consultant or with anyone claiming to be DMCC. DMCC has warned members about a fraudulent email impersonating DMCC Free Zone.
  • Give outsiders their own user. DMCC’s user management lets the admin flag a new user as a consultant (“User is a Consultant?”). That flag disables the admin role, and DMCC lists key privileges that a consultant profile does not get.
  • Remove leavers the same day from My Settings, Manage Users, and keep one named backup for the admin user.

How we work on DMCC accounts. We never ask for your portal password or UAE PASS code. Where DMCC allows it, your admin creates a user for us, flagged as a consultant, and disables it when the job is done. Otherwise we prepare every document and form entry, and someone in your company presses submit and pay.

Do you need someone to run the DMCC portal for you?

Often not: DMCC says a new company does not need a consultant for setup, and it runs portal training and publishes guidelines. Help pays off when time is short, you file rarely, or requests keep coming back. MIRDXB PRO is a private PRO and visa services company in Dubai. We are not DMCC, not a DMCC partner or approved agent, and we have no special access to the portal. Our charges for DMCC work, VAT included: new employment visa AED 750, visa renewal AED 600, visa cancellation AED 500, establishment card AED 400 and Emirates ID only AED 150, on top of DMCC’s own fees. Portal management, returned requests, sanctions and other service requests are a fixed quote on WhatsApp before we start. The full list is on our DMCC PRO services page.

Tell us the task, the SR number if there is one, and the status the portal shows. We reply with what DMCC needs, who in your company has to sign or pay, and a fixed fee in writing. No password or UAE PASS code needed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the DMCC portal login address?

portal.dmcc.ae/communitylogin. Sign in with your username@dmccportal.ae username and password, or with the UAE PASS button on the same page.

Is my DMCC portal username my email address?

Not necessarily. The username ends in @dmccportal.ae; your own email is where login details and reset links are sent.

How do I reset my DMCC portal password?

Click Forgot or reset your password, enter your portal username and press Continue. A reset link goes to the email registered for that user.

Can I log in to the DMCC portal with UAE PASS?

Yes. The login page shows a UAE PASS button beside the username form (checked 5 November 2026). If it fails, sign in with your username and ask DMCC to check the link.

Why did I not receive my DMCC portal login details?

DMCC says they will not arrive if your mail system treats the Salesforce domain as spam. Allow it, then ask your admin to resend or correct your email.

What does Awaiting Re-upload mean on a DMCC request?

DMCC has returned the request because a document is required. Replace the marked documents and return the request within 90 calendar days of the return date.

What happens if I ignore a returned DMCC request?

DMCC cancels it after 90 calendar days and charges a cancellation fee to the portal, AED 515 for most request types.

How long does a DMCC draft request stay open?

Sixty calendar days from creation. After that DMCC voids the draft and you start again.

Can I cancel a DMCC service request after submitting it?

Yes, with Cancel Request on the request page: visa requests only before DMCC types them, registration and licence requests with a reason. Most cancellations are AED 515.

Why is everything blocked on my DMCC portal?

Usually an active sanction: expired licence or lease, expired KYC, overdue audited statements or money owed. Clear the cause and services open again.

How can an employee check their DMCC visa status?

With the DMCC Visa Status Checker, using the service request number and the passport details of the applicant. It covers visa and identity card applications only.

Should I give my DMCC portal password to a PRO?

No. Your admin can create a separate user flagged as a consultant, which has no admin rights, and disable it later.
